Founded in 1934 by M. Simon Zook, Zook Ag began with a simple mission: helping local farmers succeed by providing dependable, high-quality products and services. What started as one man’s vision has grown into a trusted company serving the agricultural community for generations.

At the age of 25, M. Simon Zook launched the business with the encouragement and support of his wife, Elsie. Beginning with custom feed grinding and hay baling, he quickly earned a reputation for hard work, reliability, and finding innovative ways to better serve his customers.

Always looking ahead, Simon embraced new technology to improve efficiency. He became known for using his airplane to survey fields and determine which farms would soon be ready for hay baling. This forward-thinking approach allowed him to stay ahead of demand and provide timely service when his customers needed it most.

That pioneering spirit continues to define Zook Ag today. While the company has expanded and evolved over the decades, its commitment to quality, integrity, innovation, and exceptional customer service remains unchanged. Generations later, we are proud to continue building on the foundation established in 1934, serving the agricultural industry with the same dedication that has guided us from the very beginning.
